Overall the trip has been an eventful expericence after every meal we would pack some food for the beggars - mostly children. Others come with babies in hand all in hope for a couple of cents from you. Improvement in the country has been really slow improving the sanitions and their quality of life.


25th Dec

Today is Christmas Day! Am now below the cave where Buddha gained enlightment how ironic isnt it? There are so many beggars here one can never imagine. There are easily a hundred of them. Policemen with a stick in hand trying to maintain order. Buddist belived that the first Buddha stayed 6 yrs sustaining with a grain of rice each day and listen to this.. The second one took 6 days cos the first taught him a eight limb prayer. So I was joking with my grandmother that so now given the knowledge she should only take 6 mins!! Haha.. Dont you agree? haha..

Well.. I dont think I am going to blog about everything cos its pretty long so I will leave the pictures to talk.
