Finally I am back Home!
Feels great to be home after such a long time. Come to think of it I dont think how I can ever manage if I would to study overseas. There are so many things to share along with so much pictures! The sky and sunsets in Thailand is pretty nice as compared here due to many buildings that covers the island. Thailand should be Singapore's role model in terms of being friendly and land of many smiles. Yet again just to highlight what Jason said that we go there as tourist in a foreign land service just been boosted by 200 percent or more. Being a tourist has its pros and cons. you are either trapped in bargaining down exorbitant prices and enjoy the all the warmth the country has to offer.
The end of this exercise marks the ending of my army life all is going to be over with less than 50 working days. Going back to civilian life soon I really cant wait to embrace it but a tinge of me just want to slack-relax-get-paid. I had many fond memories during my exercise mingling with the Thai soilders and learning as much of the language as I can. Its really fun! Speaking the language breaks the ice cos they just burst out laughing at your prouncation. God has been really good to me. All my prayers in regards to the weather was answered! It didnt rain during out exercise but every other day before it! God is Great! Just yesterday my view of the neighbourhood changed 360. Managed to help write a letter for a couple in dire situation to the HDB which I will not mention here but my heart goes out to all of them. It showed me the kinder side of the government doing its part for the people as they come with burdens seeking much help. Its just one of the ways to give back to the community I guess.
